Good afternoon and welcome to my portfolio. I'm Tom Brierley a multidisciplinary designer with web development knowledge, based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. My skills are quite widely spread and together they can be used to effectively communicate brands in a digital environment.
I have a passion for design and all things digital and love combining creativity and technical knowledge to create compelling brand experiences both on and offline.
I have just completed a year placement at the awesome Turn Key, an integrated marketing agency and about to return to Huddersfield university for my final year. I'm currently looking for part time work and freelance opportunities.
I also art direct and run an independent literary journal called the subterranean.

The Subterranean Literary Journal #1, entitled ‘The human condition’, explores the experiences that blur past us on a daily basis, what we see, smell, taste, and we have selected pieces which we feel show genuine insight into ourselves as humans, this is the essence of life, and to reflect upon this can be a beautiful thing.
The journal aims to be a timeless tribute to the written word, avoiding the fleeting moments of trends and fashion, remaining date-less with each issue numbered as it is created. It explores humanity and the lives of people the world over, through fiction and non-fictional stories.
